Aqua Hotels Introduces "Don't Touch My Package" Contest

WAIKIKI BEACH, HI--(Marketwire - November 30, 2010) - Leading Hawaii hotel group Aqua Hotels & Resorts (www.aquaresorts.com) announced that they are launching a 'Don't touch my package' contest for travelers who may be stressed out and in need of some healthy holiday venting. The promotion runs in conjunction with the newly famous 'Don't touch my package' massage package.

"With the recently enhanced security measures, it seems travelers have yet one more thing to be stressed out about when flying, so we've come up with something that will help them ease the tension by taking a cheeky look at the serious business of air security," said Elizabeth Churchill, Aqua's VP Sales & Marketing. "If getting there isn't half the fun, then at least you might have a good story to tell later on."

Aqua is encouraging the travel-weary traveler to share their funniest, quirkiest holiday travel story with Aqua. Participants should visit facebook.com/aquahotels or www.donttouchmypackage.com and share their tale of woe or "whoa... please don't touch me there" to enter to win a $500 Visa gift card. The contest runs from 11/29 through 1/2; the winner will be chosen on 1/3 by popular vote.

Meanwhile, Aqua's 'Don't touch my package' massage package includes a choice of two, 50-minute massage therapies for every package booked -- one post-arrival, one pre-departure. The package is available at Aqua's boutique hotels through February 28, 2011. A three-night minimum stay is required. Sample package rates in Waikiki during early December start at $136 per night.
