AQUASave Inc. Wins CLCA First-Ever Sustainability Award

Nation's Leading "Smart Irrigation Network" Recognized for Its Dedication to Sustainability by the California Landscape Contractors Association

SAN DIMAS, CA--(Marketwire - January 18, 2011) - AQUASave® Inc., "The Smart Irrigation Network" committed to saving water, saving money and staying green, today announced it has received the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) state-wide trophy award for sustainability in recognition of its production of Golden State Water Company's Water Conserving Demonstration Garden and Retrofit and project.

Understanding the need to conserve and lead by example, Golden State Water Company worked with AQUASave to create an aesthetic landscape that reduced turf area, incorporated native California plants and used state-of-the-art irrigation to beautify the grounds, conserve water and increase water-use efficiency.

The first of an inaugural award to be given by the CLCA, the Sustainability Award was designed to recognize those projects containing sustainable installation elements, including: water management, planting and plant selection, sustainable construction methods. The California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) is a non-profit organization of licensed landscape and irrigation-related contractors, including approximately 3,200 members. The CLCA Trophy Awards recognize companies, institutions, municipalities and residents for their interest in preserving and maintaining a beautiful California.
