AquaStar Holdings, Inc.'s Compressor Technology Inventor to Speak at the 2010 Ecobuild America Conference

Dr. Mark Holtzapple to Present "A Cleaner, Greener and More Efficient Air Conditioner"

SANTA ANA, CA--(Marketwire - December 8, 2010) - AquaStar Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: RPPR) is pleased to announce that Dr. Mark Holtzapple, one of the distinguished inventors of the Company's patent-protected compressor technology, is a scheduled presenter at the 2010 Ecobuild America Conference, held at the Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. from December 6-9, 2010. Dr. Holtzapple is slated to speak on December 9, 2010 starting at 10:30 a.m. EST in Hall D, theater 2. 

Dr. Holtzapple's presentation, "A Cleaner, Greener, and More Efficient Air Conditioner," explains how the AquaStar air conditioner, for residential and light commercial buildings, is made possible by using water as the refrigerant and a novel compressor. Water has been used in large commercial properties for some time, the patent-protected AquaStar system makes it possible to bring the efficiency and environmentally friendly capabilities of water to homes and small office buildings.

Under the leadership of principals Richard C. Vendola, Jr., and George Borkovich, AEC Science & Technology, LLC (Centerville, MA), manages and produces Ecobuild® America conference and exhibit and the AEC-ST® Community. Together with their executive team, they have a depth of experience in technology and event planning for the AEC industry, including creating and managing the former A/E/C SYSTEMS International conference and exhibition. AEC-ST's Ecobuild event and online community are designed to educate design and construction professionals on improving our built environment and cover the unique intersection where ecology meets technology.

Professor Mark T. Holtzapple received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981 and has been with Texas A&M since 1986. He received his B.S. in chemical engineering from Cornell University in 1978, and from 1981 to 1985, Mark served in the U.S. Army, rose to the rank of captain, and performed research on water desalination and microclimate cooling, a method for cooling soldiers encapsulated in chemical protective clothing.
