VANCOUVER, BC and AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND--(Marketwired - Sep 22, 2016) - ARCANA STUDIO and KIWA Digital announce the coproduction of an animated pilot titled MYTHICAL CREATURES.
ARCANA STUDIO and KIWA Digital first partnered on the PIXIES: STORYBOOK app, an interactive children's book developed by KIWA Digital (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pixies-storybook/id1069205327?ls=1&mt=8). The collaboration will be managed between partners through a formal project plan overseen by project managers in each company and with the support of Canada Media Fund and NZ On Air.
Sean O'Reilly says, "It's great to be collaborating with KIWA Digital. I am excited about our project MYTHICAL CREATURES and with an international coproduction, it even affects the creative as we're focused on telling a story to children internationally."
Steven Renata says, "We're excited to be working with Arcana Studio, Canada's largest publisher of comics and graphic novels with a global reputation for its work in film and video. Together, we will deliver a creative collaboration that crosses national boundaries, taking cultural storytelling into new places, with the potential to leave a lasting legacy."
