Archability Launches "Building Relief" Campaign to Support Superstorm Sandy Victims

Crowdsourcing Platform for Architectural Services Will Donate 50 Percent of Sales Commission Through January 22 to Habitat for Humanity

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Dec 11, 2012) - Archability, an online portal for architectural services, today announced its "Building Relief" campaign supporting Superstorm Sandy victims. From today until January 22, Archability will donate 50 percent of its sales commission to Habitat for Humanity, an international charity whose Disaster Response program provides shelter and housing. Architectural contractors who are awarded projects via Archability are also encouraged to donate 15 percent of their earnings per project to support this cause.

Archability is a crowdsourced platform that allows individuals in need of architectural services to post projects to the site and have architects and designers submit proposals for the job. From homeowners to businesses, Archability allows consumers to safely and cost-effectively hire the right, reliable person for a project. Clients can easily communicate with contractors, set and track project milestones, and exchange private documents through this user-friendly platform. Now with its "Building Relief" campaign, Archability is also allowing consumers to contribute to a great cause when obtaining architectural services.

"As a New York resident this tragedy hit particularly close to home, so starting a relief program just seemed natural," said Livingstone Mukasa, founder and CEO of Archability. "We want to utilize Archability's global talent pool to increase awareness and provide financial assistance to the victims who are in a difficult rebuilding process. Habitat for Humanity provides the perfect channel for helping repair and construct homes in the wake of Superstorm Sandy."
