Agreement Will Promote Connectivity of Arcomed's IV Pumps to Hospital Information Systems

REGENSDORF, SWITZERLAND, and ANDOVER, MA--(Marketwire - September 4, 2009) - Arcomed AG, a global provider of IV pumps, and Capsule, the leading provider of medical device connectivity, today announced an agreement that promotes connectivity between Arcomed's IV pumps and hospital information systems using Capsule's leading vendor neutral connectivity solution. The agreement ensures that Arcomed's Volumed® µVP 7000 and Syramed® µSP 6000 IV pumps and their UniQueCONCEPT™ IDMS (Infusion Data Management System) have the most current connectivity software and creates a foundation for all future Arcomed products to connect to any hospital information system.
