WHO: Ken Markison, Vice President and Regulatory Counsel, Mortgage Bankers Association, works on and represents the mortgage industry on a wide range of legal and regulatory issues. These include virtually all matters under the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Housing Act, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and nearly every other law regulating the mortgage industry. He joined MBA in July 2004 following a thirty-two year career in the Office of General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Brian Moore, Executive Director of Financial Services, Varolii Corporation, has more than 25 years of experience in contact center operations and technology to the company. Prior to Varolii, he was Executive Director of Channel Development for Lucent Technologies CRM Solutions. He joined Lucent in July 1999, when the company acquired Mosaix, where Brian established the Professional Services division to deliver consulting and systems integration services focused on the contact center market. John Snook, Director of Loan Administration Policy, Mortgage Bankers Association, staffs MBA's Loan Administration Committee. Prior to joining MBA, John served as Director of State & Local Relations for Habitat for Humanity International. In that role, he co-lead a team responsible for influencing and implementing Dodd-Frank and related state laws and regulations for 1,500 Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the nation. Prior to that role, John served as Legislative and Policy Counsel for Treatment Advocacy Center, the leading voice for effective mental health laws throughout the nation. John received his J.D. from George Mason School of Law, his B.A. from Washington & Jefferson College, and his bar admission in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Chris Carlisle, Director of Mortgage Solutions, Varolii Corporation, helps top executives at Fortune 1000 companies achieve superior results through best practices and analysis of mortgage default management and business automation. Prior to joining Varolii, Carlisle managed collections call centers and default operations departments at Capstead Mortgage and GMAC Mortgage.
