Argosy Group International Launches New Soft Serve Machine Training App

ORLANDO, FL--(Marketwired - October 29, 2014) - Argosy Group International, an innovator in commercial foodservice equipment manufacturing, today announced the release of its soft serve machine training app for iOS and Android phones and tablets. The app provides training and support for the 8000i soft serve machine series and is available for Argosy customers for free through Apple's App Store and Google Play Store.

The app is the first of its kind in the soft serve industry. Argosy is the only soft serve machine manufacturer to create an app that helps train and re-train employees on how to operate and properly maintain the equipment. The app features step-by-step tutorials and videos that cover the machine's operational procedures. The app also includes in-depth descriptions of the machine's parts and functional modes.

The training app is Argosy's latest innovation delivered to the soft serve industry. Earlier this year the Argosy team released the 8000i to the market. When compared to like competitor models, the 8000i successfully increased energy-efficiency and a machine's overall lifespan, while decreasing maintenance complexities. The 8000i also brought several firsts to the industry, most noticeably, the soft serve industry's first and only machine to incorporate an LCD, true-to-life color, touch screen control panel.
