Arhaus Expands on Outdoor Furniture Offering With 150+ All-Weather Designs

CLEVELAND, OH--(Marketwired - March 03, 2015) - Arhaus triples its outdoor furniture offering with all-weather designs for 2015, including upholstered and wicker pieces. The retailer's 54 store locations show a limited selection of designs from the 2015 Outdoor Collection; the entire introduction, more than 150 pieces of furniture plus an endless selection of accessories, including rugs, umbrellas, lighting and pillows, is available to view and buy online at

All-weather wicker
Thirty-nine all-weather wicker pieces are rustproof with a powder-coated aluminum frame wrapped in woven resin mimicking the look of authentic wicker and durable enough to stand up to all four seasons. New for this year are the Cape Cod, Le Roy and Huntington groups -- everything from seating to dining tables and chairs -- and two very unique occasional chairs to mix-in called Seabrook and Tides.

The most popular wicker group, Wyatt, was carried over from 2014 and expanded upon with a new finish and several dining chairs, a dining bench and storage chest with storage, a sectional, a chaise, and two coffee tables set on wheels and with storage compartments. Dry bark joins Wyatt's original weathered grey patina.

Aluminum collections
Antiques inspired new aluminum groups -- nearly 40 pieces this year. Brampton, Palisades and Hermosa include dining tables and chairs, occasional tables, and all of the seating required for outdoor spaces. European influences show through in the Palisade klismos silhouette and Santorini's updated wing chair.

Arhaus also introduces a chaise for two to its most traditional aluminum group from 2014: Stuart. The Stuart Double Chaise features the X-back design in a durable aluminum frame and anti-microbial cushions to resist the long terms effects of moisture. The cushion covers, canopy and drapes are Sunbrella/Outdura® fabric.

Slipcovered upholstery
The introduction for 2015 also includes the retailer's signature slipcovered sectionals, sofas, lounge chairs and ottomans -- bestsellers like Dune, Emory and Pavo remade specifically for the outdoors. Baldwin joins the intro this year in Topsail Hemp (a Sunbrella/Outdura® fabric). All upholstered frames are constructed using marine-grade wood and sealed with waterproof glue. Cushions are made of water (mold and mildew) resistant material and covered in Sunbrella/Outdura® fabric.

Reconstructed stone, reclaimed wood
Four dining and occasional tables debut made of reconstructed stone -- lighter and more durable than concrete -- and reclaimed wood (elm or teak). The Treviso Dining Table is made entirely of the reconstructed stone and available in 47" and 55" widths.

"Furnishing a better world." This is our philosophy; it dates back to 1986 when father and son, Jack and John Reed, opened the first store location in Cleveland and vowed never to use wood from the world's endangered rainforests in the making of an Arhaus design. Today, nearly 50 percent of our collections are made of recycled material -- everything from glass, to metals like copper and wood cast off from far off lands. To ensure our values are upheld, we work with artisans who share our earth conscious values and use renewable and recycled materials when crafting pieces for our stores. Sustainably sourced timbers like teak, bamboo and mango -- grown for the sole purpose of building -- are used. And because we love a good story, we use reclaimed materials whenever possible, namely wood from countries tearing down dilapidated barns, shipyards and rural structures, and we refurbish one-of-a-kind antiques -- we call these pieces Relics. To further minimize our impact on the environment, our stores, corporate offices and even delivery trucks operate at maximum energy efficiency and promotional pieces are printed using soy-based ink and on recycled paper.
