Impact '08 Event Will Look at How the Next President Should Address National Security Challenges

Who & What: On Friday, September 19, 2008, the Center for U.S. Global Engagement will continue its Impact '08 in Florida effort with a luncheon featuring former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer and former head of U.S. Southern Command Gen. Barry McCaffrey in a foreign policy discussion moderated by CBS4 News Anchor Antonio Mora. The program will also include welcoming remarks by Florida House Majority Leader Adam Hasner and Florida House Democratic Whip Ronald Brise. The Impact '08: Building a Better, Safer World initiative urges the 2008 presidential candidates to incorporate greater investments in global development and diplomacy as critical tools in America's engagement with the world.
