Aria Systems Announces Enhanced Integration With Salesforce CRM for Cloud Billing

Broad Adoption and Rapid Evolution Fuel Aria Systems' Market-Leading Salesforce-Integrated Subscription Billing

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - December 6, 2010) - DREAMFORCE 2010 - Aria Systems, Inc. (http://www.AriaSystems.com), the leading provider of cloud billing and subscription management solutions, today announced its next phase of integration with Salesforce CRM. The new enhancements provide even tighter integration between Aria's market-leading billing platform and Salesforce CRM to automate sophisticated business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) recurring revenue models.

The Aria Billing and Subscription Management Platform's new capabilities, scheduled for General Availability this month, build on and extend Aria's current Salesforce integration and provide support for parent-child accounts as well as supplemental plans. Parent-child account models are popular in B2C markets for modeling households, where a company might have multiple mobile phone subscribers under the same family or household plan. In B2B scenarios, parent-child models are frequently used to track billing across different departments or business units inside of a parent corporation. Supplemental plans are an Aria capability that eases maintenance of multiple combinations of core and supplemental service plans without having to manage each combination as its own plan. For example, a company might want to offer three different basic levels of a SaaS application, with supplemental plans for additional storage or other add-ons.

"Salesforce CRM and the Aria Systems platform are the two strategic technologies that enable us to effectively market and sell subscription services and automate all of the billing and collections processes," said Randy Lindsey, vice president of Sales and Marketing at Main Street BroadBand. "These new capabilities deliver greater sophistication of account and plan models, and we're pleased to see that integration continues to evolve at a rapid pace."

Demand for more in-depth integration with Salesforce CRM is driven by Aria Systems' rapid evolution and widespread adoption among Salesforce customers, including cloud computing companies like StrataScale, next-generation telecommunications providers like Main Street Broadband, and leading SaaS application companies like CA Technologies. Over the last six months alone, average recurring revenues for deployed joint customers of Aria Systems and Salesforce CRM have more than doubled, growing by an average of 107 percent.

Salesforce CRM users have chosen Aria Systems to automate any combination of one-time, subscription-based or usage-based fees from simple, flat-rate subscriptions to sophisticated, tiered usage-based models. The Aria Billing and Subscription Management Platform automates the entire subscriber lifecycle from initial customer acquisition through service activation, usage tracking, billing and invoicing, collections, and customer service -- and is tightly integrated with Salesforce CRM.

Current integration already provides synchronization of account and product information, integration with Salesforce Quotes, and more. Aria Systems' representatives will be demonstrating the Aria platform's capabilities and integration with Salesforce CRM in booth # 1113 at the Dreamforce Cloud Expo.
