Arianne Provides Update on Opinaca and La Dauversiere Exploration

SAGUENAY, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - March 14, 2007) - The management of Arianne Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:DAR) ("Arianne/Company") wishes to update shareholders on ongoing exploration from these two gold projects.

The Opinaca project in James Bay remains the most important project of the Company. 1.5 M$ was invested on Opinaca in 2006 and more than 1 M$ will be allocated to the project in 2007. Exploration works resumed last January and a 69 km line cutting grid was completed, from wich 63 km is located on the SOQUEM block (optioned by Arianne), adjacent to the Opinaca property. Geophysical surveys (magnetometric and induced polarisation) were performed on this grid in order to improve definition of the attitude of the volcano-sedimentary contacts and/or between the sediments and amphibolitized rocks where gold showings were identified : Contact Zone (4.73 g/t Au on 3.10 m including 11.11 g/t Au on 1.10 m; OPI-06-16), Isabelle Zone (31.44 g/t Au on 2.6 m (including 55.94 g/t Au on 1.45 m; OPI-06-34) as well as the Aieul showing (25.72 g/t Au and 8.42 g/t Au; grab sample).

In addition to these works, 15 km of line cutting and similar geophysics surveys were performed on the Opinaca property in the Acotago fault area, in order to improve the definition of the Contact and Isabelle Zones as well as the gold sediments (1.52 g/t Au on 13.60 m; OPI-06-37) and the Chino zone (3.30 g/t Au on 6.75 m (including 5.83 g/t Au on 3.75 m; OPI-06-43).

The geophysical surveys preliminary map shows many anomalies that will be investigated in the Spring. A 6,000-meter drilling campaign will take place in the summer in order to test the best targets. In addition to this drilling, prospection will be done along part of the Anatacau-Pivert volcano-sedimentary trend that is included on Arianne's claims, on a strike of more than 20 kilometres.

La Dauversiere property, south of Chibougamau, a 130 km-line cutting grid was completed in February. It covers the R-14 showing (22.83 g/t sur 2.7m. within the F channel sample obtained in 2005) and its possible extensions located within the Palmer-Tippecanoe deformation corridor. Geophysical surveys (magnetometric and electromagnetic : Max Min) are currently underway on this grid. A follow-up program will take place next summer on the best anomalies identified.
