Arizona Company Receives Approval From NACA to Offer Affordable Health Care Benefits in All 50 States

USBOA Provides Business Benefit Option That Improves Access to Health Care

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - May 9, 2011) - President Obama set out a challenge to business leaders and associations to "step up" and offer affordable insurance options without restrictions to solve our nation's accessibility to health care problem. Today, Mesa-based U.S. Business Owners Association (USBOA) has received approval by the North American Consumer Alliance (NACA) to immediately offer health care benefits to business owners and their employees in all 50 states.

"All business owners can now offer affordable health care benefits to their employees with guaranteed access through USBOA membership," said Tim Hedrick, chief financial officer at USBOA. "Our innovative plan provides a valuable safety net to business owners who will no longer have to guarantee every employee's payments or be required to share in the cost."

When a business owner joins the U.S. Business Owners Association, their business automatically qualifies to receive top tier, affordable health care benefits for their entire business including full-time, part-time, seasonal employees and 1099-contractors. There are no participation costs or liability for the business. If an employee misses a payment, the business is not penalized or fined. USBOA's health care provider has been offering health care benefits since 1969. Today there are more than two million people across the U.S. receiving health care benefits offered by the USBOA.

"The feedback we are receiving from business owners at restaurants, car dealerships, and other gratuity-based and commission-driven companies, is that the current insurance structure is not an affordable benefit option to provide to their valued employees," said Tim Hedrick. "The USBOA's plan is revolutionizing how businesses offer benefits to their employees."

USBOA is hosting an open house for business owners to learn more about the new health care benefits program at JPMorgan Chase Conference Center at 201 North Central Avenue in Phoenix on Thursday, May 19 from 3:00PM to 4:00PM. Employers and independent contractors will learn how to be compliant with Health Care Reform without the increasing costs or administrative work. Registration is available online at
