Arizona Rolls Out the Red Carpet for Big Screen's "Babysitter Wanted"


HOLLYWOOD, CA--(Marketwire - February 12, 2009) - Coming off a triumphant opening weekend in the Pacific Northwest theatres, Big Screen Entertainment Group (PINKSHEETS: BSEG) has announced that its new horror/thriller, "Babysitter Wanted," will have a red carpet opening to celebrate the film's Arizona premiere on Thursday, February 19th.

The premiere will take place in Tempe at the Harkins Arizona Mills 24 theatre. Many of the film's stars are expected to attend, including Arizona native Matt Dallas (ABC's "Kyle XY"), Sarah Thompson (the new HBO film "Taking Chance" with Kevin Bacon and "Brooklyn's Finest," with Richard Gere and Ethan Hawke) and Bruce Thomas ("Kyle XY," "Legally Blonde").

"We are very happy with the film's opening weekend performance," said BSEG Senior VP Michael Manasseri and one of the directors of the film. "Opening night was sold out, and the film has been held over for a second week. We are hoping that Arizona audiences will respond just as enthusiastically to 'Babysitter Wanted.'"

"Babysitter Wanted" was produced by BSEG's Kimberley Kates, David Zappone, Stephen Eckelberry and Manasseri.

Proceeds from the red carpet event will go to charity.

The film opens on Friday, February 20th at the Arizona Harkins Luxury 24. "Babysitter Wanted" is currently playing in Mt. Shasta Cinemas, Pelican 10 - Klamath Falls and Movies 6 Grant's Pass, Oregon.
