Arizona Solar Society Rolls Out New State-Wide NABCEP-Approved Provider Schedule of Solar Installation Training Classes and NABCEP Test Administration in 12 Arizona Cities

Arizona Now Provides a Quick Option for Students to Attend a Solar Installation Class and Take the Test for the NABCEP PV Entry Level Certificate of Knowledge on the Last Day of Class


SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwire - June 19, 2009) - The Arizona Solar Society (www.meetup.com/arizona-solar-power-society/), one of the largest solar associations in Arizona, and Applied Professional Training (APT), a American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP)©-approved provider and a nationally accredited premier technical training firm, announced a new schedule for Arizona Solar Installation Training Classes offered statewide. APT administers the NABCEP entry level certification test on the last day of class. Students that pass the test should receive their NABCEP certificate in two-three weeks.

The first APT Entry Level Solar Installation Training Class will be held on July 20-24, 2009, at the Ft. McDowell Radisson Inn and Casino in Scottsdale, Arizona. Students will attend class from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (40 hours). Additional classes are scheduled statewide for Glendale, Phoenix, Mesa, Tucson, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Peoria, Surprise, Yuma, and Flagstaff. Students from California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and the rest of the United States are encouraged to attend the solar installation training classes, but travel, accommodations and food are not included in the tuition price.
