Arizona Students Discover Ah! thentic Italian Marco's Pizza as Pizza of Choice for Coming School Year

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - August 22, 2007) - Entrepreneur Tom Herman, who introduced Arizona residents to Marco's Pizza in 2005, has discovered a pent up demand for the Ah! thentic Pizza in the State and Marco's will soon be available in Mesa Area Schools for the upcoming 2007-2008 school season.

Herman, an Arizona State University graduate, who moved to Phoenix from Toledo, OH, home of the 29-year-old Marco's Pizza, announced the following contracts to provide Marco's Pizza to the following:

-- Marco's Pizzas will be served to students at Mesa Unified School
District No. 4 to all six high schools in that District.
-- Marco's will be served to six elementary schools in the nearby
Gilbert Unified School District No. 41 beginning August 21, 2007.

Some 20,000 students are enrolled in those schools.

"The consumer response in Arizona has been fantastic," Herman said. "Night Life Magazine named us the 'finest pizza of the East Valley.' We now have three stores open, and we are actively looking for other entrepreneurs to open 32 more Marco's stores in Maricopa County. Marco's Pizza loves Arizona, and Arizonans love us!"

Founded by Italian native Pasquale "Pat" Giammarco in Toledo, there are currently 159 Marco's Pizzas in Arizona, Nevada, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Florida, North Carolina and Wisconsin, with plans for 500 by 2010 and in 10 states by the end of 2007.

Herman's stores are located in Gilbert, Mesa and Chandler and offer seven day a week service with carryout and delivery service and the menu of custom made Ah! thentic Italian Pizza, fresh baked subs, chicken wings, salads and soft drinks.
