Ark's Contemporary Modular Project Selected as Show Home at the NAHB International Builders' Show (IBS) 2016 - January 19-21, 2016


LAS VEGAS, NV and LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 5, 2016) - Ark will showcase the company's latest modern LA/Echo Park project at the upcoming National Association of Home Builders ("NAHB") International Builders Show ("IBS"), the largest annual light construction show in the world.

On January 19-21, 2016, IBS attendees will have a chance to tour Ark's newest modern modular home, which is scheduled to break ground in Los Angeles in February 2016. The 1,950-square-foot home will be on display at the Professional Builder's Show Village, located in the parking lot just outside the Las Vegas Convention Center during IBS. Designed by award-winning architect Chris Krager of Austin, Texas, the energy-efficient and sustainable home features a large open floor plan with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stellar downtown views, high-end kitchen and bathroom finishes and private rooftop space with a built-in entertainment center. High-tech touches in the finished home will include an integrated audio/video/security/HVAC system, state of the art materials and fixtures from industry-leading companies. The home, built by Palm Harbor at its plant just outside Portland, Oregon, will be transported to Las Vegas and assembled on site just before the show. IBS vendors, who are featured in the show home, include Western Windows, Simpsons Doors, Typar, Jenn Air, James Hardie, Geberit and Sherwin Williams, to name a few.

These home are being built to receive the Emerald rating, the highest available under the National Green Building Program of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
