Armanino McKenna LLP Sets Student Leadership Conference

Invitational Event Offers Career Building Training for Success; Firm Extends Application Deadline to July 7

SAN RAMON, CA--(Marketwire - June 18, 2008) - Armanino McKenna LLP (www.amllp.com), the largest California-based accounting and business consulting firm, announced it is accepting applications to fill 50 available slots for its first annual AM Student Leadership Conference on Saturday, August 9 at the company's headquarters here.

Keynote speaker for the full-day conference, themed "Building Your Future," will be Next Generation Consulting CEO Rebecca Ryan, who was recently named "Entrepreneur of the Year," by the U.S. Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Ryan, whose dynamic speaking style draws large audiences, was also named "Communicator of the Year" by Women in Communication, Inc. and is the author of the best-selling book, "Live First, Work Second."

The invitational event is free to participants and will feature numerous interactive sessions with the partners and professionals at Armanino McKenna, who will share their experiences in building successful careers.

The focus of the conference is squarely on the participants and their professional potential, says Armanino McKenna Managing Partner Andy Armanino.

"This is a great opportunity for the 50 students who are selected to attend the conference because they will receive intensive, hands-on attention and information from successful professionals who are there to make sure they get take-aways they can use to enhance their careers," Armanino says.

The conference is focused on business students who are entering their sophomore and junior years in the fall. Applications can be obtained and submitted at the Armanino McKenna Web site and are due by July 7, 2008. To submit inquiries or for more information, interested students can also contact Armanino McKenna at buildyourfuture@amllp.com.

The outcomes of the "Build Your Future" Conference are ambitious, says Armanino McKenna Director of Human Resources Vickie Moul. "Our goal is to enable these students to define and leverage their personal 'brand,'" Moul says. "In addition, they will have the chance to network with successful professionals and other ambitious and motivated peers in a comprehensive and interactive learning environment."

Additional topics to be addressed in the Conference include:

-- Identifying personal strengths and learning how to maximize their
    value.
-- Learning the strengths of others and how to effectively combine them
with your own in team settings.
-- Interacting and learning from the experiences of some of the
successful young professionals at Armanino McKenna who are continuing to
build on their own success at the firm.

"This conference will deliver significant value for students," says Armanino McKenna's Kevin Turco, Campus Recruiting Coordinator and one of the primary organizers of the conference. "It's a great opportunity for the participants to jumpstart career growth. Those who attend are people who want to get ahead, and this event will give them some tools and inspire them to do so."
