Army Seeks Hotel Accommodations in Southport, NC


SOUTHPORT, NC--(Marketwired - May 09, 2017) - The U.S. Department of the Army, on behalf of the South Carolina National Guard, on May 9 released a sources sought notice for contractors in the Southport, NC area interested in and capable of providing hotel accommodations from July 28, 2017 through August 30, 2017.

The 1050th Transportation Battalion out of South Carolina will conduct a mission at Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point in North Carolina from July 28, 2017 through August 30, 2017, and will need hotel rooms for the duration of the mission. The number of rooms varies per day, and the hotel(s) must be located within 35 miles of Southport, NC zip code 28461.

The South Carolina National Guard intends to issue a firm fixed-price contract to a certified small business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 721110 with a size standard of $32.5 million

Interested and capable contractors must respond by e-mail to Vanessa J. Holmes.mil@mail.mil by no later than 2 p.m. EST on May 15, 2017. Include Solicitation Number W912QG-17-T-0010 in the subject line of the e-mail.

The contractor who receives this contract must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database and have as part of the Registration all current Representations and Certifications. The contractor also must be registered in the Wide Area Work Flow.
