Army Seeks Information About Contractors Able to Provide Veritas Netbackup Licenses and Essential Support


HUNTSVILLE, AL--(Marketwired - December 19, 2016) - The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, on behalf of the Virtual Contracting Enterprise, issued on December 19 a sources sought notice for the procurement of Veritas Netbackup Licenses and Essential Support as follows:

  • Netbackup Platform Base Complete ED XPlat 1 Front End TB On-Premise Standard Perpetual License (Manufacturer's part number 10915-M0399) - Quantity 30
  • Essential Support for Netbackup Platform Base Complete ED XPlat 1 Front End TB On-Premise Standard Perpetual License (Manufacturer's part number 10915-M0399) - Quantity 30

ACC-VCE requires a commercial solution to protect acquisition data stored on ACC VCE servers that has a Certificate of Networthiness (CON). The software product needs to be compatible and/or meet the following technical characteristics:

  • Minimum 50TB of Storage
  • Supports a multi 10GB Ethernet
  • 10 8GB and FIBRE Channel Standard Appliance with a minimum of 60TB storage
  • Have CON

The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 511210 - Software Publishers, with a corresponding small business size standard of $38.5 million.
