Aroma Espresso Bar Launches the First U.S. Mobile Application Using MyCheck Technology

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Feb 27, 2014) -  Aroma Espresso Bar, the ultimate destination for freshly brewed espresso, deliciously baked sweets and savory salads & sandwiches, has launched its first-ever mobile application. Available on both iTunes and Google Play, the Aroma app will allow patrons to pay and manage their loyalty benefits from their smartphone, using the MyCheck technology. With the success of Aroma Espresso Bar accepting the MyCheck app since October 2013 in its NYC locations, the company has decided to create their own app that will be accepted in all 11 of its U.S. locations, including Florida, Maryland and New Jersey. This will allow the company to promote its own brand to customers and enhance Aroma's relationship with its loyal consumers. The app will also facilitate special promotions direct to users' smartphones throughout the year, as well as provide new menu item announcements.

Within the app, users check into any Aroma Espresso Bar location to obtain a 4-digit code that the cashier enters into the restaurant's Point of Sale system, seamlessly accepting payment and generating an email receipt. Additionally, the app automatically handles the "punch," eliminating the need for a separate card for the brand's loyalty program. With the launch of the new rewards program, Aroma Espresso Bar is offering a free sandwich for all new users at all locations and a built-in punch card for coffee beverages, in which customers can receive a free coffee for every 12 purchased.
