Arrow Partnership Announces That Sloane Stricker Joins as Practice Director for Arrow's Business Intelligence Practice

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - Oct 12, 2012) - Sloane Stricker is Arrow's new leader of the Business Intelligence Practice.

Sloane and his team will provide short and long term consulting engagements, assessments and project delivery leveraging real-world IT experience, technical knowledge and business acumen. Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics define technologies that use data collection, reporting and analysis to understand business issues, derive insight, and guide decision making more effectively to provide companies with a competitive edge. Partnering with Arrow, clients can reduce that learning curve and realize their BI goals in months rather than years.

Sloane has spent years in the technology field and has had opportunities to work with hundreds of organizations in the area of data architecture, business intelligence, data infrastructure, database administration and IT operations. This experience with both small startup businesses and large enterprise-class companies has given Sloane real-world expertise and the ability to provide value-added and sustainable IT solutions that today's companies must leverage to stay competitive and enable growth. As each company's challenges are different, Sloane's combination of listening and experience are keys to a successful engagement.

Sloane joins Arrow Partnership from DatAvail Corporation where he was Co-founder and Chief Technical Officer developing and overseeing the company's service offering, technology strategy, complex customer engagements, and consulting practice, growing DatAvail to the largest pure-play database services company in the industry. Sloane pioneered a unique and cost-effective managed services support model leveraging people, tools and process coupled with a custom developed SaaS-based monitoring system. Before that, Sloane was the Director of Global Data Administration at Level 3 Communications, responsible for all data infrastructure, Business Intelligence, storage and database administration supporting the company's massive Internet and VoIP network. Sloane also held senior technical and management positions at Corporate Express, (i)Structure, and Sprint Corporation, all of which focused on enterprise data architecture, database administration, IT operations and support services.
