Arseno et associes publicite Inc. Boosts Production Capacity Thanks to Financial Support From the Government of Canada


MATANE, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - May 12, 2011) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of State for Canada Economic Development, today announced that the firm Arseno et associés publicité Inc. has received $130,000 in repayable funding through the Community Adjustment Fund provided for under Canada's Economic Action Plan to boost its output capacity.

"The Government of Canada believes in the importance of supporting dynamic enterprises that, like Arseno et associés publicité Inc., are looking to diversify their products and expanding into new markets," said Minister of State Lebel. This project is sure to generate significant spinoffs for the Bas-St-Laurent manufacturing sector.

Founded in Matane in 1952, this family business specializes in the design, manufacture and customization of clothing for corporate and tourism markets. The company offers to its 750 or so clients in Eastern Canada an array of products that can be personalized. In addition to enabling the firm to increase its screen printing and embroidery production capacity and acquire two new printing techniques (digital and sublimation printing), the new equipment is expected to promote the development of new markets.
