Art Expert Leah Selakovic Promotes Maison Takuya's Designs for the New iPhone 6

SINGAPORE--(Marketwired - Sep 16, 2014) - Following Apple's debut of its new iPhone 6, Singapore-based fashionista Leah Selakovic highlighted Maison Takuya's designs as stylish solutions for new gadgets in her newest blog entry. In her new piece of expert advice, she describes her long quest for fashionable protection, rifling through a plethora of cases made of rubber, plastic and leather, available in stores, online and even at street stands. What she found, eventually, was a high-quality and stylish case, made by a Thai luxury brand named Maison Takuya. "I found this gorgeous iPhone case made from genuine python leather," Leah shares with her keen readers. "It looks elegant, yet modern and even includes a slim billfold, adding to its practicality. The leather is really durable and everything is hand-stitched -- I think this case will actually outlive my iPhone!"

With the bigger screen of the iPhone 6, fashion-aware Apple fans are certainly going to appreciate Leah's expert insider tip. But the blogger also shares with her readers that Maison Takuya offers a lot more than just smartphone cases: Launched in 2008 by the Parisian luxury design guru and art director, Francois Russo, the brand has gained a reputation for its beautiful and long-lasting leather products. Designs merge French heritage and Japanese style, a combination that is reflected in the brand's name: "Maison" is the French translation of "House", while "Takuya" in Japanese stands for "Excellent Craftsmanship". The third country that comes into play is Thailand, selected by Russo for the patience and ability of its craftsmen, all trained by leather experts from Italy, France, and Japan. "I love how much attention to every little detail Maison Takuya pays," raves Leah Selakovic. "And they follow a strict 'leather only' policy for all of their products -- even the lining of handbags is made of thin, soft leather."

It is safe to say that Maison Takuya found a new fan in Leah, an art expert and a self-declared fashion enthusiast from Singapore. "My favorite pieces in my wardrobe are modern, yet timeless," Leah explains. "And the beautiful pieces from Maison Takuya are exactly that. And thanks to the prime material and careful stitching, they last forever." Just like the English author John Keats once said: "A Thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever."

Leah Selakovic was born in the former republic of Yugoslavia and now lives in Singapore with her husband and children. After graduating from university with a Master's degree in Art and Classical History, she went on to work in the Information technology field. At the same time, she explored her interest in alternative medicine and obtained the titles of NLP Master and Reiki Master. A fashionista at heart, Leah still attends fashion shows in Singapore and Europe and is always excited to come across the newly emerging brands and designers.
