Art Studzinski Joins the Strategic Equity Group Investment Banking Team

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 19, 2007 -- As a Senior Analyst with SEG, Art constructs financial models to illustrate the pro forma effects of capital infusions, mergers, acquisitions and other transactions and is also responsible for conducting due diligence for selected transactions. He is also involved in creating Confidential Information Memorandums to market transactions to potential investors. Art has solid experience in corporate finance investment banking, particularly on the debt side, and also has experience in buy and sell-side M&A.

Prior to joining SEG, Art was an analyst in the Investment Banking firm Kann Capital, where he worked on debt and equity offerings, recapitalizations and mergers and acquisitions involving firms in a wide variety of industries. He was responsible for building financial models, writing Confidential Information Memorandums and spear heading the due diligence process on selected transactions. At Kann Capital, Art worked on a significant amount of traditional capital raises for public and private companies, which involved working with a variety of debt instruments along with equity infusions.

Prior to working at Kann Capital, Art was an Intern in the Compliance Division of National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) where he served as an assistant to special investigators and worked alongside them in reviewing and examining investments placed by financial representatives and entire firms. In this role, he conducted several churning analyses of investor accounts and also performed investment market research for different securities and mutual funds. The data he obtained was utilized by the NASD in determining disciplinary actions in evaluating cases in which securities firms committed violations.

Art received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. While in school, he was a member of the Finance and Investment Club. He played for Pepperdine's nationally ranked water polo team and continues to be involved in the sport, playing on various other regional teams.
