Artefact Expands to New Office in South Lake Union

The Company Experienced Significant Client and Workforce Growth in 2009 With Plans to Continue Expanding Into 2010

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - January 20, 2010) - Artefact, a Seattle-based digital product design consultancy, today announced it has moved to a larger office space in the South Lake Union neighborhood. The company moved to the new Terry Thomas office building, which was recently named 'Green Building of the Year' and was listed as one of the nation's top sustainable projects in 2009, according to the American Institute of Architects Committee.

The new 10,000 square foot office space located at 225 Terry Avenue North, Suite 300, will enable Artefact to continue its aggressive growth plans in 2010 and make room for additional staff members.

Since its founding in 2006, Artefact has provided strategic counsel on design projects within the mobile, web, computer software and consumer electronics spaces through its work with clients such as Microsoft, Panasonic and Intel. During this work, the company has expanded its experience, reputation and skill sets, with plans to grow its development capabilities over the next year.

"It's very exciting to be part of a company that is just four years old and see such enthusiasm and demand for our expertise in digital product design," said Gavin Kelly, principal designer at Artefact. "User experience design is a rapidly growing field, quickly overtaking industrial design, and we feel right in the thick of it. The strong work of our staff, our ever-growing client lists, as well as our high rate of returning clients and referrals, have been key indicators showing the importance of the innovative minds we bring to the table -- something that companies continue to place a high value on."
