Artfest International and Dallas Diamonds to Kick Off Season With Historic Changes

America's Professional Women Football Players Ready to Take Fundraising to a Whole New Level; Former NFL Safety Joe King and The Diamond JK Band Headline Dallas Diamonds 2011 Launch Party and Signing Event January 8th

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - January 4, 2011) -  The Dallas Diamonds, with their sights set on a historic 5th women's professional football championship season and more than any team in women's history, have partnered with Starfest Direct, a wholly owned subsidiary of Artfest International (OTCBB: ARTS), to change the way women in professional football raise funds for sponsorships and fundraising. Using Starfest's proprietary software and e-commerce engine, the Diamonds plan to introduce the Starfest system to its fan base, supporters, and sponsors on January 8th, 2011, at the team's first annual contract signing event at Starfest Studios in Dallas, Texas.

The 2011 season kick-off party is free to the public and is headlined by The Diamond JK Band, led by Joe King, a country band that performs its original music as well as covering popular artists of today's country music along with more traditional country. Influences of the band include George Strait, Johnny Cash, Charley Pride, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Sam Cooke, and many others. Joe leads the band and his musical direction with the same tenacity and drive that made him successful on the football field. After graduating from Oklahoma State University, he continued playing football as a Safety for five seasons in the NFL where he played for the Cincinnati Bengals, the Cleveland Browns, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Oakland Raiders. The evening will also feature live performances by "Rock Theory" with several special guests and players.

Several stars from the league are expected to sign for another season with the Diamonds. This includes Diamond players Jessica Springer, Alberta Brydson, Jen Welter and Dani Lynn Welniak from USA Football's Team USA (Women's National Championship Football Team) who earned the title of first-ever women's world champions in the IFAF Women's Full Contact Football World Championship. Team USA swept the international competition and ultimately defeated Canada 66-0 in the Gold Medal Round. Other Dallas Diamonds favorites Monica Foster, Rachel May, Angellica Grayson, Nicole Malloy, and Tiffany Meyer are expected to return, as well as Julie Parton and Umeka Webb. The free launch party evening starts at 7 p.m. on the Starfest Studios Main Stage, Saturday, January 8th, at 13300 Branchview Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas, 75234.

"This is a new era in women's football. With the support of Starfest, everyone can be a part of the Dallas Diamonds Championship tradition. This system rewards players, fans, family, friends, and sponsors for supporting the Dallas Diamonds!" explained #47 Jen Welter, a 10-year veteran now with the Diamonds, a four-time World Champion, All-Pro, and a seven-time League All-Star. "I love playing football, and I really love that this system will help support me and my teammates financially as we pursue our 5th World Championship!"

Arguably one of the greatest teams in the history of women's football, the Dallas Diamonds are competing in their 10th season on a larger scale than ever before. The Diamonds will play their 100th game in 2011, and with a season that spans only 8 games, plus championships, the team is armed with one of the largest rosters in the league and a tradition for leading the sport to bigger and better opportunities for women in football. "The Dallas Diamonds have always been leaders on and off the field. This new avenue will provide more options for our friends and dedicated fans to become more involved with their favorite team as well. The fact that they can personally benefit from that is just another bonus and a win-win for everyone," stated Diamonds team President Shelley Burnson.
