Artfest International, Inc. Experiences Success at the 2009 Licensing International Expo

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - June 5, 2009) - Artfest International, Inc. (OTCBB: ARTI) is pleased to announce that the Company attended the 2009 Licensing International Expo being held at the Mandalay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, from June 2nd through June 4th. The Company reports that it was very successful in securing the interest of a number of talented artists that the Company expects to make a part of their existing network of artists. In addition, the Company had the opportunity to meet with several potential partners for one or more of its subsidiaries, Art Channel, Inc. and Art Channel Galleries, Inc., which serve as distribution channels for art and memorabilia.

An Artfest International executive and select Company consultants also spent time presenting Artfest's unique Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) service, which is used to authenticate original art and memorabilia, by use of a RFID chip that can be read by many cell phones and PDA devices. Each piece is tagged at the source where it originates and is not easily counterfeited; giving purchasers of art or memorabilia assurance that they are acquiring the genuine article.

"We are very excited about the contacts we made at the Expo. I'm confident that we will be adding to our artistic talent base, which we hope to continue to grow each month, so that we can increase the diversity of artistic properties that are distributed through our members. I'm also confident we will be adding customers for our state-of-the-art verification technology," stated Edward Vakser, CEO of Artfest International, Inc.

In addition to the positive initiatives developed during the Licensing Expo, Artfest management and financial advisors met with their Investment Banker and have finalized the financing parameters which will enable Arfest to quickly conclude the announced CSD acquisition during the month of June 2009.
