Artfest International, Inc. Experiences Success at the 2009 Licensing International Expo

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - June 5, 2009) - Artfest International, Inc. (OTCBB: ARTI) is pleased to announce that the Company attended the 2009 Licensing International Expo being held at the Mandalay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, from June 2nd through June 4th. The Company reports that it was very successful in securing the interest of a number of talented artists that the Company expects to make a part of their existing network of artists. In addition, the Company had the opportunity to meet with several potential partners for one or more of its subsidiaries, Art Channel, Inc. and Art Channel Galleries, Inc., which serve as distribution channels for art and memorabilia.

An Artfest International executive and select Company consultants also spent time presenting Artfest's unique Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) service, which is used to authenticate original art and memorabilia, by use of a RFID chip that can be read by many cell phones and PDA devices. Each piece is tagged at the source where it originates and is not easily counterfeited; giving purchasers of art or memorabilia assurance that they are acquiring the genuine article.
