Artfest to Launch New Exhibit and Host World Premiere of "From Russia With Love" Showcase

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - May 17, 2010) - Artfest International, Inc., (OTCBB: ARTS), a leading-edge arts and sport memorabilia distribution company, announced today that on June 26th, 2010 the company will open a new exhibit titled "From Russia with Love and Art," featuring world renowned Natalia Vetrova and Vladimir V. Piskarev. In conjunction with the exhibit, Artfest will host the world premiere launch of the Television show on Time Warner Cable, The Art Channel,, and several other major distributors. The exhibit will feature a new and previously acquired collection by Luxor Art and Artfest International.

"We have been working on completion of Luxor acquisition and as we are coming to a close, we are excited to formally launch several new Russian Artists," explains Randy Jacobs, Artfest artist relations and licensing supervisor.

"Our licensing division is supporting the Artfest Direct System, where we are providing and publishing some of the best artists and their products. The Russian Collection is sure to create a great revenue stream and add to the bottom line of Artfest International," stated Angie Tassan, Artfest CMO.

Artfest Direct will feature over 30 new Russian artists and several hundred new original paintings from pre and post Russian revolution. The limited editions will be exclusively featured at Artfest International and could only be bought through Artfest Direct Network Marketing System.

"Currently, Artfest Direct added several thousand new members and is expanding daily. Our average member drives over $ 6,500.00 dollars per year in revenues, and we are expecting to have over 20,000 members by the end of the year," explained Edward Vakser, Artfest International CEO.

Recently, the company issued a 1st quarter dividend, and will be announcing 2nd quarter dividend and issuances upon the issuance of cusip number by FINRA.

Natalia Vetrova was born in Moscow. She began formal arts training at the Technical College of Industrial & Applied Arts in Moscow, specializing in sculpture between 1981 and 1985. Her love in sculpture translated into a position as interior designer at a stained glass workshop in Moscow. Natalia began exhibiting professionally after graduation in 1995 from the Stroganov Academy of Art, where she qualified with a Master of Art Criticism and Design.

Her longing for inspiration and fresh ideas takes her through Asia, as a member of a geological expedition, then further to Europe, and Paris, where she survives by portraiture in front of Notre Dome de Paris. Ultimately, Natalia's travels led her to the natural beauty of Vancouver, British Columbia, in 1997. Natalia opened her Studio of Art and Design, where she teaches and works. Her paintings are internationally sought after by private collectors.

Vladimir V. Piskarev is a professional artist, member of the Artist's Union of Russia and Tatarstan Republic. He lives in Kazan, Tatarstan Republic, Russian Federation. Vladimir was born in Syzran, Russian Federation on 11 June, 1962. He has two Higher Educations, graduated from the Chuvash State Institution of Educational Specialists in 1991.

From 1997 to 200, he has passed a full rate of the painter of the top skills in Creative workshop of painting of the Academy of arts of Russia. Exhibition activity begins with the participation in the Zone exhibition "The Greater Volga" in 1992, in which he was exposed during 1998-2004. (Kazan, N. Novgorod, Saransk).

He also regularly took part in current republican exhibitions in Exhibition Hall of the Artist's Union of Republic of Tatarstan, and in the exhibitions which were organized by the state Art Museum of Tatarstan republic.
