Artificial Solutions Releases Intelligent Translate Function for Indigo

- Mobile personal assistant pulls out the exact phrase to be translated from users' sentences

- Can create and send text messages automatically translated into another language

- Can translate Indigo's responses into other languages

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIFORNIA--(Marketwired - Nov. 26, 2013) - Artificial Solutions™ (www.artificial-solutions.com), the natural language interaction (NLI) specialist that enables users to have a meaningful, humanlike interaction with technology, announced today a new translate functionality in its mobile personal assistant Indigo that continues to demonstrate the assistant's intelligence by only responding with words the user actually wants translated. For example, ask Indigo "How do I say I would like a beer in French" and rather than translating the whole sentence she just responds with the answer the user is looking for "Je voudrais une bière". Ask Indigo "and a glass of red wine" and because she has a memory, can persist conversations and understands the context Indigo knows that the user is asking for the words not just to be translated, but translated in French too.

Like all personal assistants Indigo allows users to send text messages using only voice. The new translate feature now enables users to have the text message automatically translated into another language before sending. For instance, say "Send a text to Sam Price saying let's meet at the airport at 2 pm in Dutch" and Indigo will create a text to Sam Price that says, "laten we elkaar ontmoeten op de luchthaven om 14:00".

This new feature which is already available for download from both the Google Play Store and Windows Phone Store, is capable of translating over 60 languages. A free to download personal assistant app, Indigo is the showcase of Artificial Solutions' Teneo™ platform that enables developers to quickly and easily create platform and device independent highly intelligent virtual assistants.

Indigo is available for devices running Windows Phone 8, and an Android Phone or Tablet operating V.4 and above (Ice Cream Sandwich and Jellybean), and works across multiple browsers including Safari and Explorer. Some languages will require the user to install the relevant TTS file (text to speech) for the translate function to 'speak' the translation.
