Arts & Analytics Appoints Netflix Co-Founder Mitch Lowe to Its Advisory Board

Company Also Announces the General Availability of PatronLink360, and New Customers

DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - Sep 10, 2015) - Arts & Analytics, a provider of predictive analytics software targeted to meet the needs of the arts and culture communities, today announced that Mitch Lowe, co-founder of both Netflix and Redbox, has joined the company's advisory board. In this role, Lowe will provide industry insight and counsel to the company as it seeks to attract key talent, set a course for sustainable growth, and connect Arts & Analytics with other organizations, theaters and businesses that will benefit from the targeted consumer data that the company provides.

Lowe brings extensive experience in entertainment business operations to Arts & Analytics. He served as president and COO of RedBox Automated Retail, vice president of business development and strategic alliances at Netflix, senior director and vice president at McDonald's Corporation, and general partner of Viridian Investment Partners, L.P. Since leaving Redbox in 2011, Lowe has been an independent advisor for entrepreneurs and startups. He is a highly sought after board member and sits on the boards of Medbox, the Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation, and Cantaloupe Systems.

"Coming from a video and film background, I am fascinated by how people make their entertainment choices, trying to get to the core of what interests them -- and what does not. During my tenure in the entertainment industry, I have lived and breathed analytics to help consumers find the perfect product, at the right time, at the right place, for the right price. But without the right technology at my disposal, there were many challenges," said Lowe. "The technology that Arts & Analytics has developed is a must-have and an industry game changer. With PatronLink360, the performing arts can finally access the data that provides real insight into consumer behaviors, and in turn, build smarter marketing strategies that more effectively identify and engage with their target customers."

Lowe joins other Arts & Analytics advisory board members including:

  • Amanda Pekoe, CEO, The Pekoe Group
  • Liz Miller, vice president, CMO Council
  • Glynn Dennis, Jr. PhD, founder, Lapwise

"Mitch Lowe changed the entertainment industry when he co-founded Netflix and Redbox as he helped create a new path for video and content offerings. As a new member of the Arts & Analytics advisory board, we are looking forward to leveraging Mitch's entertainment expertise as we pioneer a new era for the performing arts with our PatronLink360 software," said Lee Gallagher, founder and CEO, Arts & Analytics. "Our predictive analytics solution is helping to strategically attract and retain audiences, and with Mitch's shared enthusiasm in analytics, we will leave no stone unturned as we provide additional tools, products and features that will fill the seats of our customers' venues -- which is Arts & Analytics' principal mission."

In addition to Lowe's appointment, Arts & Analytics is also announcing the general availability of PatronLink360 -- its predictive analytics software targeted at the performing arts industry which launched earlier this year.

Since launching PatronLink360, the company has received interest from new customers such as Denver B-Cycle and Palm Beach Opera. The new customers add to the support of the platform's success seen by early adopters, including the Blumenthal Performing Arts, the Denver Center for Performing Arts, and Lyric Opera of Chicago.

"When I first read about PatronLink360, I knew immediately that it was a product for the Palm Beach Opera. Since our initial deployment, it has completely transformed the way we target new and existing audience members," said Ceci Dadisman, director of communications, Palm Beach Opera. "With PatronLink360 we no longer have to spend countless hours on list matching to find the best people for a performance -- PatronLink360 automatically does this for us. We have been thoroughly impressed with the time, money, and resources that the software has helped us save on while better filling our performance seats."
