Festivals like the Kaleido Family Arts Festival are especially important, as they instill in young Canadians a life-long appreciation for arts and culture."

-The Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages

"The Government of Canada is proud to partner with organizations like Arts on the Ave, whose support for our local arts and artists is enormous. For ten years, the Kaleido Family Arts Festival has brought artists, children and families together for high-quality performing arts and cultural programming. We know that arts and culture contribute greatly to Edmonton's quality of life, and I am excited to see what the festival has in store for families this year."

-Peter Goldring, Member of Parliament (Edmonton East)

"Arts on the Ave is extremely grateful for the support that we have received through Canadian Heritage. This program has given us the ability to hire local and regional artistic talent, which enables us to support young emerging and professional artists alike. This support has helped rebuild an old, historic and rundown neighbourhood by creating a new artistic, vibrant and healthy community that the citizens and city can be proud of."
