Aruba Networks' AirWave Wireless Management Suite Wins Network World's "Best of the Tests" Award

Multi-Vendor Wireless Management Suite Received Top Score in Wireless Management Category

SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwire - March 4, 2009) - Aruba Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARUN), a global leader in wireless LANs and secure mobility solutions, today announced that it has won Network World's "Best of the Tests" award for its AirWave Wireless Management Suite. The 2009 Best of the Tests Awards were bestowed by Network World upon a select few products in enterprise networking categories that registered the top performance spots in its hands-on testing program during 2008 -- the best of the best. In all, Network World tested and reported on hundreds of enterprise products in that time frame, selecting a total of just 13 winners. Aruba received its award in the Wireless Management category.

The latest AirWave Wireless Management Suite offers many key new features that are unavailable in proprietary management solutions:

-- Management efficiency through improved diagnostics, advanced
    troubleshooting, and reporting;
-- Visibility into the wireless network that enables the Help Desk to
    resolve problems remotely and efficiently;
-- Streamlined performance of routine management tasks such as updating
    controller configurations and software versions; and
-- Support for multiple generations of technology, wireless standards,
    and vendors through a single console interface.

"It is gratifying to have Network World validate that the AirWave suite is the best-in-class management solution for both single and multi-vendor wireless networks, and we're very pleased to receive this award," said Bryan Wargo, general manager of Aruba's network management division. "Especially in these economic times, customers value the cost savings that come from better leveraging existing IT staff, managing multiple systems from a single console, and extending the life of legacy Wi-Fi networks even as they upgrade to new technologies such as Aruba's 802.11n solution."
