Aruba Networks and Catalyst Telecom Agree to Deliver Converged Voice, Data, and Video Solutions Throughout North America

Aruba Products Expand Catalyst Telecom's Communication Portfolio to Include Toll-Quality Wireless LANs, Mesh Technology, and Secure Mobility Solutions

SUNNYVALE, CA and GREENVILLE, SC--(Marketwire - July 18, 2007) - Aruba Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARUN), a global leader in wireless LAN and secure mobility solutions, and Catalyst Telecom, a division of ScanSource, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCSC) and a leading international distributor of converged communication solutions for the enterprise, today announced a strategic distribution agreement under which Catalyst Telecom will market and distribute Aruba's entire product line to its North American solution provider channel. The Aruba product line includes wireless LAN access points and controllers, wired and wireless security products, remote access solutions for mobile workers, wire-free Secure Enterprise Mesh products, Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) solutions, and network and policy management applications.

Aruba's user-centric networks are designed to securely and reliably deliver enterprise data, voice, and video applications to users wherever they work -- in the office, at home, in a hotel, or on the road. Follow-me connectivity via Aruba's robust wireless LANs, as well as conventional LANs, WANs, and FMC carriers, enables users to access their enterprise applications from anywhere in the world. Follow-me security moves with the user, providing remote users with the same level of protection they enjoy in the office. The secure mobility of user-centric networks is helping to redefine where and how people work.

"Aruba's wireless LANs deliver toll-quality voice, and this capability melds well with Catalyst Telecom's suite of VoIP and telephony solutions," said Peter Cellarius, Aruba's head of business development. "Additional synergies come from a mutual focus on convergence. Aruba's enterprise FMC solutions, and its ability to support data, voice, and streaming video on a single network, complement Catalyst Telecom's infrastructure and multimedia focus. Finally, both companies are deeply committed to customer support and education. Taken together we believe that these synergies will expand the base of dedicated, repeat customers for both firms."

Catalyst Telecom partners with the industry's leading manufacturers to provide a single source for innovative, cutting-edge products. Through a convergence "power play" of telephony, voice, switching, routing, handset, and now secure mobility suppliers, Catalyst Telecom enables its resellers to leverage existing data infrastructure and deploy mission-critical applications like voice and video.

"Our objective is to make available innovative options from which solution providers can draw best-in-class products, and Aruba's secure mobility solutions meet that goal," said Buck Baker, senior vice president of merchandising, Catalyst Telecom. "By partnering with Aruba, we're giving our Avaya dealers access to a powerful wireless convergence offering, as Aruba's comprehensive suite of highly reliable wireless and wired LAN secure mobility solutions can be used standalone or as a perfect complement to Avaya solutions and other products we carry. For instance, Aruba's enterprise FMC solutions integrate with Avaya's SIP-based IP PBXs. Working together, Aruba and Catalyst Telecom can make our customers more competitive and deliver added-value to their end-users."
