Arvixe's Founder Named to Inc. 500's 30 Under 30 List

CALABASAS, CA--(Marketwired - May 29, 2013) - Arvand Sabetian Named to the Class of 2013 30 Under 30, Inc. 500's List of Young Entrepreneurs. (http://www.inc.com/30under30/kimberly-weisul/arvixe-arvand-sabetian-2013.html)

Founded in 1979, Inc. magazine is a monthly publication focused on growing businesses. Each year it publishes the popular Inc. 500, a list of the private companies experiencing the fastest growth. The 30 Under 30 list is a sub-list highlighting the young entrepreneurs making a real difference in the world of business.

Arvand Sabetian is the owner-operator of Arvixe, a web hosting company that he started as a junior in high school. As Arvand was preparing to attend a four year university, he had a difficult decision to make: Should he abandon or continue to operate the web hosting company that he had built from scratch?

Arvand chose to keep Arvixe, and he hired a few of his closest friends, which allowed him to keep the company without making sacrifices that could hurt his collegiate career.

Arvand Sabetian graduated from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in 2008 with a degree in civil engineering. At the time, Arvixe was generating steady level of revenue, and his take-home from that was not far off what he would earn as an entry-level civil engineer.

Sabetian chose to give Arvixe one more year. If the earning potential of the company did not increase significantly within those 12 months, he would sell or abandon it and then focus exclusively on a career in civil engineering.

The choice gave way to great success, and at year's end, Arvixe had dozens of employees and had generated more than a million dollars. Currently, Arvixe has about 90 employees who collectively helped produce over eight million in revenue in 2012 while staying on pace to generate 12 million in 2013, earning Arvand a coveted spot on the prestigious Inc. 30 Under 30 list.

What makes the Arvixe story so interesting and Sabetian such an intriguing entrepreneur is that the company is completely decentralized and has no headquarters despite having nearly 100 employees around the world. Arvand wouldn't have it any other way. In fact, one of his employees works from an RV that he drives around the country with his family.

Like with most webhosting companies, the key to Arvixe's success is its customer service, and for Arvand, there is no doubt that the secret to their success is the remote workforce. Arvixe's remote workforce avoids significant overhead costs, and it allows its customer service representatives to live and provide service in a manner that best serves them and the many clients they serve.

Arvand Sabetian is just one of two Cal Poly alumni named to the 2013 30 Under 30 list; the other is A.J. Forsythe of iCracked.com.
