Arxan Appoints James Love as VP of Sales

Rapid-Growth Software Security Executive Takes Reins to Accelerate Growth for Arxan

BETHESDA, MD--(Marketwired - March 30, 2016) - Arxan Technologies, the leading provider of application protection solutions, today announced the appointment of Jim Love as its Vice President of Sales. Love will lead and oversee direct and channel sales operations globally and play a key role in forging strong client relationships and driving global sales strategies to accelerate growth for the company.

"Arxan has successfully grown to the point where our solutions are being used to protect applications running on more than 500 million devices around the world," said Arxan CEO Joe Sander. "But our greatest growth opportunities are still ahead of us. More than 20 billion things will be connected by 2020. From games to mobile payments, enterprises not only need to bake robust security into their applications to mitigate risk in today's mobile and IoT environments, but they also want to do so because it gives them a competitive business advantage. Under Jim's leadership, Arxan is poised to capitalize on this enormous market opportunity."

Love brings more than 20 years of hands-on strategic sales execution and leadership experience from respected software technology and services companies. Before joining Arxan, Love was Vice President of Sales at Imperva Software's North American business unit where he grew bookings and revenue more than 150% in less than three years. Prior to Imperva, Love was General Manager of the South Region for Red Hat, where he drove a 50% increase in year-over-year revenue. He previously spent more than five years as Regional Director of PTC, where he led sales strategy and achieved more than 1000% in business growth. Love launched his career at IBM in their Vitality Program, a respected program known for producing next-generation executive leaders. From that point, he successfully built and led teams to achieve impressive growth and expansion.

In addition to leading a direct sales organization that covers North America and portions of EMEA and APAC, Love will oversee strategic partner relationships, such as those with IBM, Cigital, and others with whom Arxan has established agreements. Within the past six months, Arxan has expanded its partnerships to include:

  • Wipro (Services Partner) -- one of the world's most respected IT consulting and services companies with clients in more than 175 cities across six continents
