Mobile App Security Leader Selects Seasoned Marketing Veteran to Lead Global Marketing and Drive Enterprise Growth

SAN FRANCISCO, CA and BETHESDA, MD--(Marketwired - Jan 29, 2014) - Arxan Technologies, the industry-leading provider of software security solutions that protect the App Economy, today announced the appointment of Patrick Kehoe as chief marketing officer. Kehoe brings more than 20 years of experience in building and managing sales and marketing capabilities for software, hardware, and service providers across the high tech sector.

"Patrick has a long track record of successful strategic planning to drive market awareness, pipeline generation, and sales results in global markets," said Mike Dager, CEO Arxan. "I'm pleased to welcome him to our executive team and look forward to his contributions as Arxan continues to meet the demand from enterprises for mobile security solutions that protect their investments in the app economy."

As CMO, Kehoe will be leading all aspects of Arxan's global marketing including strategy, messaging and positioning, brand development, demand generation, digital marketing, website messaging, social media strategy, as well as analyst and public relations.

"I'm thrilled to be joining Arxan at such an exciting time and to be involved in taking the company to the next level," said Kehoe. "The ongoing shift toward 'Mobile First' strategy by enterprises worldwide highlights, for me, the incredible market opportunity for Arxan's innovative mobile application security technology across industries from financial services, to healthcare, to government, to gaming and digital media."

Kehoe joins the company during a time of increasing enterprise demand for mobile security solutions that address the BYOD phenomenon by enabling increased workforce productivity while still guarding against the most sophisticated cyber threats including: reverse engineering, tampering, and the insertion of malware/exploits that put sensitive corporate data at-risk. Arxan's industry-leading solutions employ layered and comprehensive mobile environment security to protect enterprises from IP theft, revenue loss, fraud, and brand compromise.

Before joining Arxan, Kehoe held leadership positions at Siemens Enterprise Communications -- a global provider of communications software and services where he was most recently responsible for North American marketing and partner business and managed their global marketing strategy, intelligence, and Operations. Prior to SEN, Kehoe held positions at Booz Allen Hamilton and MarketBridge where he lead market expansion, new product marketing, digital marketing, and social media and his clients included: IBM, SAP, Symantec, and VeriSign. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University and a MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business, University of Virginia.
