As Soltra Comes to a Close, Anomali STAXX Provides Users with New STIX/TAXII Threat Intelligence Solution

On-Premises Model Provides Uninterrupted Service to Critical Feeds

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 21, 2016) - Anomali, provider of market-leading threat intelligence platforms, today announced the availability of Anomali STAXX, a free offering supporting the industry-standard STIX/TAXII threat feed protocols. As Soltra winds down, Anomali STAXX provides a solution that allows users to receive STIX/TAXII threat intelligence feeds without disruption. Anomali STAXX supports threat-sharing standards used by the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC), the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) and other industry ISACs.

Soltra Edge, offered as a fully on-premises solution, allowed users to access threat feeds directly without a cloud intermediary. The Anomali STAXX on-premises model allows users to configure STIX/TAXII feed sources and access them directly.

"Soltra has played a key role in helping global organizations share and understand modern threat data," said Hugh Njemanze, CEO of Anomali. "We recognize the outstanding work of the FS-ISAC, DTCC and Soltra, and are proud to be a founding member of the OASIS Cyber Threat Intelligence committee. We built STAXX to offer the Soltra Edge community, and all threat intelligence users, a robust, supported and free solution that extends the vision of making threat intelligence easily accessed, integrated and shared by everyone."

In addition to supporting STIX/TAXII feeds, Anomali STAXX replacement for Soltra also provides:

  • Robust Indicators of Compromise (IOC) search capability. STAXX provides granular indexing of all IOC details, allowing users to search and access exactly what they need.
  • Free ThreatStream account. IOCs in STAXX have direct links to the Anomali ThreatStream portal where users can research threats in more detail, find associated indicators, and discover threat actors, campaigns and TTPs.
  • Access to over 100 additional threat intelligence sources via the ThreatStream portal.
