VANCOUVER, WA--(Marketwire - Jul 13, 2011) - Ascension Software announced today the successful integration of its popular ORION guest-service interface with the Android™ operating system and placement of the first guest-service application on the Android Marketplace™.

The Heathman Hotel, based in Portland, Ore., has been using the ORION platform for more than a year to offer room service, order amenities, receive concierge requests, and promote its personalized audio artwork tour via the ORION portal. "Our guests love using the ORION system and many Android users have requested it be available on their devices as well," said General Manager Chris Erickson.
