Ascent Solar Provides Clarification of SeekingAlpha Article

THORNTON, CO and WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - Dec 30, 2015) - Ascent Solar Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASTI), a developer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art, flexible thin-film photovoltaic modules integrated into the company's EnerPlex™ series of consumer products, announced today the Company was incorrectly included in a SeekingAlpha post dated 12/29/15.

The SeekingAlpha article (http://seekingalpha.com/pr/15737566-acacia-subsidiary-enters-into-settlement-and-patent-license-agreement-with-reflectix-inc) incorrectly stated that Ascent Solar had entered into a legal settlement and patent license agreement with Reflectix Inc. The article has since been amended to correctly state that Acacia Research Corporation, not Ascent Solar, has entered into an agreement with Reflectix.

On December 29th, Ascent Solar did announce the Company was awarded its second patent of December 2015, pertaining to the Company's solar manufacturing process, and continued leadership in thin-film CIGS solar technology; this information is correctly presented on the company's website (http://investors.ascentsolar.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=948228) and now on SeekingAlpha (http://seekingalpha.com/news/3005696-ascent-discloses-new-patent-shares-plus-24_4-percent).
