ASDR Fabrication Inc. Receives Financial Support From Government of Canada

MALARTIC, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Nov. 8, 2012) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the firm ASDR Fabrication Inc., which inaugurates its new shop today, was granted financial assistance for the acquisition of higher-performance equipment to improve its competitiveness.

"This contribution is yet another example of our government commitment to supporting enterprises that, like ASDR Fabrication, are making the necessary investments to increase their productivity," said Minister Lebel.

ASDR Fabrication Inc., a specialist in the design, manufacture and repair of mining machinery parts, has been expanding its facilities over the past few months to allow for the installation of the new equipment. With its larger plant now set up, the Malartic enterprise is in a position to produce a higher volume of complex parts in response to growing customer demand. These improvements will enable ASDR Fabrication to remain competitive, which the company's management says could result in the creation of as many as eight new jobs in the near future.
