ASG Acquires End-End™ Technology for Its Business Service Platform™ Providing Powerful End-User Monitoring Features

NAPLES, FL--(Marketwire - September 10, 2007) - ASG recently announced the acquisition of new technology from End-End Software that effectively monitors end-user response using lightweight agents. The addition of the End-End technology completes the end-user monitoring capabilities of the ASG-TeVISTA™ suite of products bringing together a combination of synthetic and real end-user probes to determine the exact client, network and server end-user experience in real time. This allows organizations to monitor what matters most, allowing management to take swift action to ensure that end user expectations are exceeded.

The new technology monitors transactions and response time, dividing them into client, network and server elements. The data is then delivered to a central server for storage and reporting. Central to the new functionality is a Web-based console, which provides analysis features accessing a range of reports against the data acquired from the agents.

The new features are designed to auto-detect any application, install out-of-the-box and offer Java-based monitoring capabilities to monitor applications on thin client technology. This enhanced software solution addresses slow application response times and variances of response times in a proactive format that allows for immediate remedial action. Users can set strategic triggers to generate e-mail or SNMP trap alerts when thresholds or parameters of service are violated.
