Focus on Product Enhancements and Customer Support Leads to Successful Year for Non-Profit Software Provider

More than 200 organizations invested in its market-leading software solution iMIS 15, and the company also made a number of enhancements to iMIS 15 to increase openness and accessibility and ensure compliance with PCI standards.

  • iMIS was recognized as the #1 association software by a global independent survey. iMIS was recognized as the most widely used association software in the world with three times the global market share of the nearest solution; the most widely used in the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Australia; and ranked #1 for customer satisfaction by an independent global survey by Lehman Associates.

  • ASI expanded its position as a global market leader in the charity and fundraising industry. ASI purchased Australian fundraising software provider Donor Management, increasing its market leading position in the charity and fundraising market in Asia-Pacific, which follows the acquisition of United Kingdom fundraising software provider Fisk Brett in 2008. ASI now has nearly 1,000 fundraising customers worldwide.

  • ASI released version 15.1.3 of the market-leading iMIS software system. ASI released version 15.1.3 of iMIS, which featured a SOA Web Services Application Programming Interface (API), allowing customers and partners to easily integrate third-party applications into iMIS, regardless of technology or application platform. There are now more than 100 applications that integrate to iMIS developed by ASI partners.

  • iMIS 15 was validated as PCI Compliant. iMIS 15 was validated as compliant with the Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) by the PCI Security Standards Council. With iMIS 15, customers can opt to store the full credit card number in encrypted form for transactions or only store the gateway transaction number or token. iMIS 15 is the only solution for non-profits that offers both of these options and has also been validated as compliant with the PA-DSS.

  • ASI launched the iXtend Program for third-party iMIS add-on products. ASI has rolled out several levels of the iXtend Development Partner Program as a business initiative to assist current partners, third-party companies and individuals, customers, and ASI staff with the development, integration, promotion, and selling of applications for iMIS. The first official iXtend product was (C) Systems' Room and Resource Manager followed by PayPal payment processing and DubMeNow mobility solutions.

  • More than 100 customers participated in ASI's global customer excellence program. ASI appointed Nathan Slovin, a former iMIS customer and non-profit executive, as the executive director for its global customer excellence initiative, the iMIS Business Excellence Forum (iBEF). iBEF was created to help iMIS customers maximize their investment in iMIS. More than 100 customers participated in the program in 2010.

  • The iMIS user group, NiUG International, achieved record membership. The iMIS user group, NiUG International, continued to achieve growth in membership with more than 700 organizational members and held six successful user conferences in the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia. Record numbers of NiUG International members also accessed its social network, career center, and iMIS certification program.
