Asia Now Expands the Porphyry Copper System to 2.3 by 1.3 Kilometres With High Grade Mineralization Zones at Habo

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 21, 2008) - Asia Now Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:NOW) is very pleased to release assay results for samples from drillholes and tunnels in the porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum mineralization systems at its Habo property in Yunnan Province, China. The results confirm the high grade mineralization zones associated with a potential new porphyry system at Habo North and expand significantly the mineralization system, with local high grade zones at Habo South.

Noel White, Asia Now's Director and Consultant said, "These assay results further indicate the large mineralization zones at Habo, possibly related to multiple porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum systems, and at least parts of the mineralized zones contain economic grades. We are confident that as our drilling programs proceed in 2008, more high-grade zones will be found in the Habo property."

New assay results for three additional drillholes and two new tunnels at Habo South further expand the large porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum system to the north. Drill-hole (ZK10) intersected wide gold mineralization zones. ZK10 is 1,200 metres step-out north from ZK9, and ZK9 is 400 metres northeast of ZK8. ZK8 is 300 metres northeast of ZK7 that is 850 metres northwest of ZK6 (see www.asianow.ca for detailed locations of the holes). The whole porphyry mineralization system has now been shown to be at least 2.3 x 1.3 kilometres and open to the north, west and south.

As previously reported, grab chip samples from the tunnels at Habo North returned up to 2.96 g/t gold, 242 g/t silver, 0.94% molybdenum, 9.96% copper, 10.2% lead and 9.42% zinc. Channel samples confirm high grade mineralization zones within or on the margins of the porphyries. This, together with the large copper-gold-molybdenum anomaly, indicates a potential new porphyry mineralization system at Habo North. Assay results are summarized as follows:

(1) Copper equivalence was calculated assuming $600/oz gold, $12/oz silver,
$1.50/lb copper, $25/lb molybdenum. Recovery is assumed to be 100%.

Sampling of mineralized outcrops and detailed geological mapping was completed at the Habo property before the Chinese New Year (February 7th). Drilling programs are being planned, and the drill sites will be located in late February (after the Chinese New Year) to target possible high grade mineralization zones of the known porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum system at Habo South and to test the potential new porphyry systems at Habo North.

The Habo Project involves a cooperative joint venture with Yunnan Geology and Mineral Resources Company Limited called Yunnan Now Mineral Exploration Company Limited. It covers an area of 162 sq. kilometres, in which Asia Now can earn an interest of between 70% and 88%.

SAMPLING, ASSAYING, QUALITY CONTROL AND QUALIFIED PERSON

Drill core samples were cut in halves using a diamond saw. One half of the core was sampled. Tunnels were sampled by channelling along one side of the tunnels, each sample being 1.0 to 2.0 metres long by 15 cm wide by 3 cm deep and weighting 6 to 12 kilograms. Chip samples, each between 1 and 4 kilograms, were collected from mineralized intervals in the tunnels. All the samples were assayed using aqua regia digestion with AAS determination for gold, and hydrochloric/perchloric (HCl/HClO4) digestion with ICP-MS determination for copper, molybdenum, silver, zinc, lead and others (a total of 35 elements). For samples with Cu grade higher than 1%, a four acid (HCl/HNO3/HClO4/HF) digestion method and AAS determination were applied. All the assays were completed at Intertek Laboratory in Beijing in accordance with international standard ISO17025. To maintain independent quality control on the laboratory, duplicate samples are submitted from 5% of sample sites, and replicate samples are submitted for 3% of samples. In addition the laboratories use an extensive range of internal standards. External check assays are routinely performed on check samples submitted independently by the Company to Ultra Trace Analytical Laboratories, Canning Vale, Western Australia.

Quality control and assurance programs are implemented in line with the standards of National Instrument 43-101, as described the independent 43-101 report filed on www.sedar.ca. Exploration and financial controls are implemented in each of the company's exploration projects in China,as published on the website of the Company, www.asianow.ca. Exploration on all of the Company's projects is conducted under the direction of Dr. Noel C. White, a director and consultant to the Company and a Qualified Person as defined under National Instrument 43-101. Dr. White has read and approved this news release. Disclosure on mineralization on adjacent properties has not been verified by Dr. White and is not necessarily indicative of the Company's anticipated results. Where provided, potential quantity and grade is conceptual in nature as the Company has not conducted sufficient exploration to define a mineral resource and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the target being delineated as a mineral resource.
