Asia Now Retains Roscoe Postle Associates for the NI43-101 Resource Estimate on the Beiya North High-Grade Gold/Silver and Base Metal Zone

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 9, 2011) - Asia Now Resources Corp. ("Asia Now" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:NOW) is pleased to announce that the Company has retained Roscoe Postle Associates (RPA) for the NI43-101 report and resource estimate on the Beiya project in Yunnan Province of China. Project Director for this assignment will be Deborah A. McCombe, P.Geo., Executive Vice President and Principal Geologist of RPA. The Project Manager for this assignment will be William E. Roscoe, Ph.D., P.Eng., Chairman and Principal Geologist of RPA.

Dr. Kaihui Yang, President and CEO of the Company, said, "As the Company is starting a new phase of aggressive drilling at Beiya, we have engaged RPA to provide us an independent view on our drilling plan, to ensure that the on-going drilling programs meet NI43-101 technical standards throughout the drilling campaign, and to establish a NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate at Beiya North."

Currently the Company has 20 rigs drilling for resource definition of the Beiya North high-grade gold/silver and base metal zone at the Beiya project, regarded as one of the top 10 high-potential prospects in China by the China Geologic Survey. Drilling is focusing on following up recent successful drilling results that confirmed the continuity of the main mineralized zone over 1,200 meters long by 350 to 620 meters wide, and it remains open. Of the 47 completed holes, 39 interested multi-layered gold/silver and base metal mineralized zones, including some high-grade intercepts containing up to 23.5 g/t gold, 928 g/t silver, 1.86% copper and 25.5% combined lead and zinc (see News Releases dated February 7, 2011 and August 9, 2010). The drilled area is a part of the 13 kilometer long by 2 kilometer wide gold belt, two-thirds of which belongs to the Company's joint venture.

The Beiya project is adjacent to the open-pit Beiya Gold Mine, the largest gold mine in Yunnan Province, producing 200,000 ounces of gold annually. Asia Now has earned 72% with the option of increasing to 90% its interest in the Beiya North property where the Company is currently drilling. Beiya North is part of the Beiya project that involves two joint venture companies. Beiya North is part of the joint venture with Yunnan Non-Ferrous Geology and Mineral Resources Company Limited. The Company is earning a 70-88% interest in another joint venture with Yunnan Geology and Mineral Resources Company Limited. The Beiya project is 60 km by highway north of the city of Dali, which is a 35 minute flight from Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan. There are several daily flights, a railway and a paved highway between the two cities. The Beiya property is one of two key projects the Company is exploring in China.

Quality control and assurance programs are implemented in line with the standards of National Instrument 43-101. Exploration and financial controls are implemented in each of the Company's exploration projects in China, as published on the website of the Company, Exploration on all of the Company's projects is conducted under the guidance of Dr. Noel C. White, FAIG, a consultant to the Company and a Qualified Person as defined under National Instrument 43-101. Dr. White has read and approved this news release. Disclosure on mineralization on adjacent properties has not been verified by Dr. White and is not necessarily indicative of the Company's anticipated results. Where provided, potential quantity and grade is conceptual in nature as the Company has not conducted sufficient exploration to define a mineral resource and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the target being delineated as a mineral resource.
