NEW YORK, NEW YORK--(Marketwired - Jan. 22, 2014) - Ms. Gigi Chao, a famed socialite in Asia and founder of Faith in Love Foundation, has released her first collection of short stories, Faith in Love. This book, named after the foundation, is another big step taken by Chao to further spread the message of love, giving and sharing.
The book's main theme and message is about love and having faith in love. It includes personal details of her life like how she met her partner, the two families' reaction to their relationship, her hobbies and interests as well as her insights into her travels and philanthropy.
Having studied in the United States and UK, taking odd jobs around and doing volunteer work in Africa and China, Chao returned to Hong Kong a more enriched and wholesome individual. Her believe in never giving up on love can be seen through her own personal experiences when her marriage to Ms Sean Eav ignited a heated discussion within the Asia community.
Standing strong to Faith in Love Foundation's mission of supporting the alleviation of poverty, encouraging volunteerism and promoting art as a medium of connection and expression, Chao has been actively promoting her book on top of her usual charity programs.
Proceeds from the sale of this book go to support the Faith In Love Foundation. Through her book, Chao hopes to reach out to more people all over the world and inspire them to slow down their pace in life and to truly understand how it feels like to give their time and care unconditionally to a stranger.
About Faith In Love Foundation
Faith in Love Foundation is a Hong Kong registered charitable organization. The mission of Faith in Love Foundation is to support the alleviation of poverty, encouraging volunteerism, and promote art as a medium of connection and expression. In the fast paced environment of city life, it is often too easy to get sucked into the dizzying world of materialistic pleasures and competitions for success. But in volunteering and truly giving our time unconditionally to care for a stranger, we feel what it means to be human, that is, to love and connect to another and realize, beyond appearances, we are really not too different in our need to love and be loved.
