NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Mar 8, 2012) - The executive teams of ASML Holdings and European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co. have won top honors in Institutional Investor's All-Europe Executive Team, an exclusive ranking of best CEOs, CFOs, investor-relations professionals and IR programs, which was just published.
The CEOs, CFOs, and investor relations professionals and teams of the technology and aerospace companies each received eight first-place votes for best in their industries in Europe, based on a survey by Institutional Investor of 825 buy-side and 1,470 sell-side analysts from nearly 600 firms.
The European companies next most honored in the survey were media giant Pearson and metals and mining company Xstrata2, whose executive teams each garnered seven first-place votes. Those of British American Tobacco, LVMH Moet Hennessy Vuitton, and SAP tied for fifth with six first-place finishes in the voting, which took place between September 7 and December 12, 2011.
Institutional Investor reports that despite the financial crisis gripping much of the euro zone, these European executives and others that won top honors from the analysts have raised their sights from cost control to growth objectives after putting their businesses on sound financial footings.
