ASN Clarification of April 25, 2007 Release

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - April 26, 2007) - Asian Mineral Resources Limited (TSX VENTURE:ASN) today issued a clarification of its "ASN ANNOUNCES RE-INTERPRETATION OF DISSEMINATED RESOURCE" new release dated April 25, 2007 stating that:

- The "resource" referred to in the paragraph reading: "The decrease in the tonnage of the resource has largely resulted from the 2005 ASN geological interpretation compared to the previous ASN interpretation." is the DISS or disseminated resource contained in the Ban Phuc property whose updated status was the subject of the release.

- The application of the new interpretation has no impact on the previously reported massive sulphide resource and related reserves which are the subject of a pending application for a mining license.

As stated in the April 25 release, the necessary request for approval by the Vietnamese Prime Minister's Office has been submitted. Following such approval, MONRE will be requested to issue a mining license so that development of the massive sulphide reserves can proceed.
