AssetWorks Announces Major Win for AiM ™ at the State of Washington

New facilities inventory system selected to help the state better manage owned and leased facilities.

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS--(Marketwired - Sept. 10, 2013) - AssetWorks, a leader in intelligent workplace management, today announced the State of Washington's Department of Enterprise Services (DES) has selected AiM to serve as the statewide facilities inventory system. DES is expected to leverage AiM to capture, manage and report on relevant facility inventory data for both owned and leased facilities. This data in turn is expected to be used by the state's Office of Financial Management (OFM) to conduct in-depth analysis, long-term planning and ongoing management of the state's facilities portfolio.

DES currently manages over 108 million square feet of owned and leased buildings and was seeking a system that would meet both current and future technology needs for facilities and real estate management. DES is expected to deploy AiM Property and Lease Management, AiM Space Management, AiMCAD and AssetWorks' embedded business intelligence tool, AiM IQ.

"Coming on the heels of our win at the State of Delaware, this win definitively reinforces our position as a leading provider of IWMS technology to the public sector," said Ken Slaughter, Senior Vice President, AssetWorks. "We relish the opportunity to help DES become better stewards of Washington's taxpayer-supported facilities and real estate assets."

AiM helps organizations reduce costs by promoting better oversight and utilization of facilities and real estate; eliminates management redundancies and proactively manages the workplace; ensures regulatory and fiscal compliance by providing auditable data and complete transparency to enterprise assets; and helps organizations realize their sustainability and business continuity goals.
