AssetWorks Awarded Enterprise Asset Management Contract for Oklahoma State University

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS--(Marketwire - Jan. 13, 2011) - AssetWorks, a leading provider of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software solutions, announced that it has signed a facilities management software and implementation services contract with Oklahoma State University. The university selected AiM(TM) by AssetWorks to replace an existing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to better manage their facilities and serve the needs of faculty, staff and students.

Oklahoma State University (OSU) was founded in 1890 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Originally known as Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College, it is the flagship institution of the Oklahoma State University System. The Stillwater campus is located on 1,489 acres of land and contains over 400 buildings serving the needs of more than 21,000 students. OSU is classified by the Carnegie Foundation as a "High Research Activity campus".

After a competitive procurement process that included on-site demonstrations, client site visits as well as a full analysis of EAM software applications, Oklahoma State University selected AssetWorks' AiM(TM) enterprise asset management software suite. OSU was looking for an experienced provider with a proven track record of success in Higher Education and required a best-of-breed EAM software solution that is easy to use, deep in functionality, and offers asset and maintenance management functionality, reporting, and analytics.

"AssetWorks is proud of our history and success in serving Higher Education. We are excited to add Oklahoma State University as a client, and we look forward to a successful implementation," stated Broc Zautner, Director of Sales & Marketing.
